Bukovac (1290 m)
Bukovac is a beautiful, forested valley located in the northwestern part of Mount Biokovo. Situated between the mighty Šćirovac peak to the north and the Ovčja Pola viewpoint to the south, this location offers a perfect blend of untouched nature and mountain serenity.

Hike duration: approx. 3 hours
Difficulty: moderate trail
"Bukovac" mountain hut
At an elevation of approximately 1,030 m, you will find a charming mountain hut. It is an ideal spot for a break or as a base for further exploration of Biokovo.
Note for visitors: overnight stays are possible by prior arrangement with the "Pozjata" mountaineering association from Brela.
Don't miss: Ovčja Pola viewpoint (1,262 m)
Just a 30-minute light walk from the mountain hut takes you to one of the most stunning views in Dalmatia. The Ovčja Pola viewpoint offers a "million-dollar view" of:
- the Makarska Riviera and Omiš

- the imposing central massif of Mount Biokovo
