Gornja Brela

Gornja Brela is one of two settlements within the Municipality of Brela. A stroll through these hamlets offers a glimpse into the traditional Dalmatian way of life, with stone houses and an authentic atmosphere.

The educational trail "Paths of Ancient Berulia" also begins in Gornja Brela, leading visitors through the rich history and natural beauty of the region. Through informative panels, the trail tells the story of past life and customs. At the end of the trail is the church of St. Nicholas, from where other hiking trails branch out.

Subotišće is also home to the Biokovo Nature Park Presentation Centre. Here, visitors can explore the exhibition "Biokovo" to fully appreciate the park's natural features and beauty. The Presentation Centre can only be visited by prior arrangement via email at: posjecivanje@pp-biokovo.hr.
