"Glavno da se klajmba" - mountaineering camp

The "Glavno da se klajmba" mountaineering camp is traditionally held in Brela as a memorial meeting in honor of the deceased mountaineers Toni Rosa, Igor Skender, Martin Užarević, and Krešimir Milas. The organizers include the Mountaineering Commission of the Croatian Mountaineering Association, the Speleological Mountaineering Club "Ekstrem" from Makarska, and the mountaineering sections of the "Velebit" and "Željezničar" mountaineering societies from Zagreb.

This gathering of mountaineers in Brela, at Kričak, attracts more participants every year, confirming it as a place where climbers from various regions meet, share experiences, and climb together. This element of togetherness, socializing, a pleasant ambiance, and a friendly atmosphere has become the trademark of the "Glavno da se klajmba" camp. Promoting Mount Biokovo and its extraordinary possibilities for year-round climbing is another key objective of the camp. With its maintained climbing sites, a wide selection of equipped routes of varying difficulty, and numerous alpine routes, Biokovo perfectly meets all the demands of modern climbers.
