Traditional trade fair in Zadvarje
The village of Zadvarje gives you an insight in Dalmatia that now only lives in the memories of older generations! Every Tuesday morning, the village hosts a fair whose origin dates back 200 years. Here you will find everything you can think of - from livestock and organic food products to household goods and clothing. In addition to the local population, the fair is attracting more and more tourists every year. However, Tuesdays are not the only days that make Zadvarje special. The village is especially festive for the Feast of St Anthony (13 June) and the Feast of St Bartholomew (24 August) which you wouldn’t want to miss out.
The 50-metre waterfall of Velika Gubavica, overlooking the magnificent canyon of the Cetina River, is also a must-see.
